new meaning of economical!!

This quote from Richard Feynman has great relevance in the context of the financial mess we are in -

"There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers."

These numbers are only for US. US was always employing dubious techniques internationally. they always bothered about themselves and simultaneously wanted to control economies of 'the rest of the world'. Now these numbers are economical or astronomical whatever, the actual numbers are for US x 10^11 taking in to account the losses in economies which they are taking along with to hell.

Anil,
Fortunately or unfortunately, every economy is part of what we call the Globe and phenomenon called 'Globalization". So yes, US is taking the other economies to hell, but it is just doing what others did to it when the Russian economy went kaput in early 2000s or the east asian economic crisis in late 90s. So don't you worry both India and China will get their chance sometime later in the next couple of decades to screw up their economy and take US down with them. Or when the US economy ultimately recovers, every economy in the world will also enjoy the benefits (Just like they did from numerous times before).
